Overview
I developed a custom WordPress portfolio website using Elementor, combining visual storytelling with modern web interactions — performance score of 92+, and an interactive gallery.
Objectives
- Create an interactive portfolio layout that feels fluid and immersive.
- Implement light/dark theme toggle with smooth transitions.
- Optimize the website for speed and performance (Lighthouse score 98/100).
- Design a custom contact form with spam protection (honeypot or reCAPTCHA).
- Ensure full mobile responsiveness and accessibility.

Performance Optimization
Performance was a top priority. I used a combination of:
- WebP images
- Lazy loading
- Minified scripts/styles
- Efficient Elementor layout planning
This resulted in a 94/100 score on Google Lighthouse, even with animations and visuals active.
Interactive Gallery with Smooth Animations
A core highlight of this project was building an interactive gallery to showcase the client’s design work. Using Elementor’s motion effects, scroll animations, and custom transitions, the gallery feels dynamic without being overwhelming — perfect for a design-forward personal brand.
